The Hotel has reasonable parking facilities, but they are unlikely to be able to accommodate everyone who might wish to use them.  On-road parking is generally free, in the immediate area of the Hotel, on Sundays, but it is widely used by local residents and the closest location where free parking tends to be readily available is the south-west side of Hardwick Road, south of Blackwater Road.  Parking is free, on both sides of King Edwards Parade, the B2103, outside the front of the Hotel, between 1st November and 31st March.  This extends all the way to the foot of the South Downs, south-west of the Hotel, apart from in spaces that are restricted to buses and coaches.  However, north-east of the Hotel, parking is metered, between 8AM and 6PM, apart from in spaces that are restricted to the disabled.  Parking is free, in Silverdale Road, on the south-western side of the Hotel, in Jevington Gardens, on the north-eastern side of the Hotel, and in Compton Street, behind the rear of the Hotel.  Parking in South Cliff, immediately south-west of the Hotel and running parallel with King Edwards Parade, is restricted to permit holders, between 8AM and 6PM

Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company Limited operates a bus service along the A259 that runs between Brighton and Eastbourne.  Service 12/12A currently runs every fifteen minutes, during the afternoon and early evening, on Sundays.  Service 13X currently runs just three times, in each direction, on Sundays.  Passengers should alight at the stop called Eastbourne Station.  It is an approximately twenty-minute walk from the Hotel

East Kent Road Car Company Limited (Stagecoach) operates two long-distance bus services that serve Eastbourne, on Sundays.  Both of them currently run hourly, during the afternoon and early evening.  Service 51 runs along the B2203, A267, A22 and A2270 between Heathfield and Eastbourne.  Passengers should alight at the stop called Eastbourne Station.  It is an approximately twenty-minute walk from the Hotel.  Service 99 runs along the A259 between Silverhill in Hastings and Eastbourne.  Passengers should alight at the stop called Memorial Roundabout.  It is an approximately fifteen-minute walk from the Hotel

East Kent Road Car Company Limited (Stagecoach) also operates local bus services in and around Eastbourne.  The only bus service that currently runs near the Hotel, on Sundays, is Service 3.  It runs from opposite Eastbourne Station to the foot of the South Downs and back to Gildredge Road.  It currently runs hourly, during the afternoon, though the last journey is probably too early to be convenient for people leaving a Concert.  Passengers should alight at the stop called Grand Hotel, which is in Compton Street, behind the rear of the Hotel

Road users should note that opening of the Swing Bridge can delay journeys from the western side of Newhaven.  In the same way, large numbers of visitors to the Seven Sisters Country Park can delay journeys from the western side of Exceat Bridge
